The registration will close on Tuesday 8th December at 6pm, and your form and payment will have to be in Art House Dubai Gallery, Al Wasl Road, Villa 422, opposite Jumeirah Post Office. If you are out of town, just email me and we will make another arrangement.
ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN
1. We have emailed our 250 press address list to advise them of the Winter ARTE Soukh.
2. Radio: we have support from Georgiebird and Catboy.
3. We are on Facebook fan page and the group which are both updated regularly.
4. We have a Google advert which has been running for the last month.
5. Follow our blogspace as well on http://uaeartesoukh.blogspot.com/
6. Claire T has hung the posters in 10 different supermarkets.
7. And then we have paid adverts in 7 Days, Connector, Express newspaper, FYI, Connector and Time Out magazine.
8. Jan D'Sa articles are now published in this week's and other weeks Friday magazine of the Gulf News.
9. And we have positioned ourselves on many websites in their free listings as well as in the What is On listings in many magazines and papers.
10. We also expect that you have done your share with the E-flyers, notice board posters and text messages to your friends and colleagues.
I expect that is more publicity then any other market event. There is a great confidence that we will receive a good response to the best local art & craft market in town. Looking at numbers this event might be the biggest ARTE event.
FOOD VENDORS
All potential food vendors please drop me a line and I will be able to provide you with an overview of what foods are coming and where your table is likely to be.
LIGHT
The light changes from 4pm, this will affect your display. If at all concerned, please bring your own extension cord and lights. The management of the mall have promised us again yesterday that they are addressing the broken light bulbs before Friday!
SET UP from 10 am
Market is from 2pm till 7pm, early departures are not permitted.
